I was also having this issue so I logged it with support and the loss of settings was reproducible. As such, it's been officially filed as a bug so hopefully we'll see a fix for it some time soon

To switch mapping banks I press the row of buttons beneath the rotary encoders and each one I press generates a message in the status bar to let me know which bank I've switched to. I got mine to function as expected with the Live preset by using the dump button, no Er22. Might be worth checking the BCR2000 manual to see if there's a description of that particular error in case it highlights something specific to your setup. Yep, you problem sounds like a different one. In your case I'd try to rule out possible troublemakers by deactivating all the other tracks and every effect on the track with the operator and on the master. Thanks TweakingKnobs! Despite being quite an experienced Live user, I've been pretty much exclusively using Logic for the last 8 months, which seems to have turned me into a Live retard! (I was pressing cmd I think)
