Hi peoples,

I just got a new mac and re-installed Ableton. Now some of my tracks have media files missing.. I have installed everything I can... Anybody know why?? The files cannot be found but seem to have come from Ableton Suite Demo?? I did use Ableton Suite Demo prior to purchasing but it was ...

I'm from Melbourne and looking at doing some Ableton/Maschine training.. I'm wanting some feedback from anyone who has done some and wether it was worth it or not?? And where they did it? I noticed its quite pricey via dj warehouse etc so want to make sure its worth the $.

I'm am looking for a mic that is mainly for recording vocals so maybe the Rhodes would be good for me??

Sounds like the Rhodes are good mics and I have a friend with the same opinion :-) I think you can get a Rhode NT1 on Amazon for about $240 which is an awesome deal and the NT2's are about $300.. When recording vocals, you're probably better off with a pair of closed headphones. The AKG K 701 are open-type and while they are better suited for reference listening due to this, you'll have more crosstalk when recording.

For recording, I've personally used the AKG K 271 for a few years ...

I'm new to this so go easy on me.... I am finding that when I export tracks the volume is low compared to other tracks on sites like Sound Cloud etc! I would not think all those tracks are professionally mastered so am wondering if anyone can give me some mixing advise to get my tracks to an ...

I'll check all those out and try score of eBay... For sure there is massive variation in mic prices so great to get some feedback... Cheers
