The new features of Live look nice to me but IMO don't seem to me to warrant a new version number (or at least don't warrant the front-page hype " the team's biggest development effort since the initial release of Live in 2001")... Could you load your sample into Simpler, and then use a simple midi loop to repeatedly trigger it at the beginning of each bar?

2) have some what glitchy operation at any latency setting
3) Freeze the computer on power up NB:on the texas instrument based chipset the problem was solved by simply pulling the card.
