If I have a clip in arrangement and try dragging a longer clip from the browser over the shorter clip, the longer clip is cut short and both are shown. I would expect that the shorter clip would be removed completely.

I was testing out the repeat function and noticed that when trying to trigger a Virus Snow, the notes are legato and don't have enough separation to be audible. A workaround is to use the Note Length midi effect.

Is there a way to change the note length when using Repeat?

Here's a workflow I've come up with for using an Access Virus TI Snow in Ableton Live. This uses Clip Automation as opposed to Track Automation so that you can use more than 4 parts from the Snow. This technique could also be used in Logic Studio using Channel Settings.

I've been experiencing a lot of crackling with the TI in Ableton running USB and read somewhere to use the VST version instead of AU.

Has this helped anyone else?

I just started having this issue as well with volume fader 4. It's only sending cc values 0-8 while every other fader works normally sending 0-127. After I moved the fader and let it rest for a few seconds it will send out a few more cc's. Sucks.

Did anyone else ever get this resolved?

I've been getting this as well and in my experience, live's not seeing the audio unit plugins. i go into preferences and toggle "Use Audio Units" and then it works again.

+1 for automation clips. Reason's implementation is the best of any daw.

I just thought I'd chime back in on this because I've been using sampler a lot more and this problem still persists.

I did however find a workaround. If you modulate the resonance with a ramp (just slightly say over 4 bars or whatever) then the filter stops squeaking.

I got touchosc, osculator, and live running today on the iPad and it rocks. Super easy to setup and customize. As stated above, the latency isn't bad either.

Agreed. Bought an iPad and I just set up touchosc, osculator, and live. Omfg. It works suprisingly well. The latency is negligible if you create a network on your laptop.

This combo alone is worth it for me. Studio mixer, drum controller, clip launcher, etc, etc, etc. It rocks.
