Re: Moving Logic X EXS24 sampled instruments into Ableton?
In Live's built-in browser, click "Add Folder" and use the window that opens to select your Logic "Sampler Instruments" folder. After a few seconds (once Live has scanned the folder) you will see your EXS library (and it's inherent folder structure). Now, you can drag, or double-click, any EXS pres...

Re: Moving Logic X EXS24 sampled instruments into Ableton?
I was importing EXS instruments as per Pitch Black's instructions without a problem for a couple days. Then, suddenly, Ableton's behavior seemed to switch and it would ask me to locate each sample individually, as opposed to only needing one sample located and filling in the rest automatically. Anot...

Rewiring Reason 7
Quick question, quick answer please.
You still can't send audio TO Reason from Ableton, even with the new version of Reason, right?
I knew you couldn't before but I thought someone told me it's now possible.

Re: PULL - iPad device controller - Speed up your workflow!
Could it be that the "play button" is on? What is the play button?
EDIT: xmonsta, I'd love to set up a skype session if we can't figure this out. Tomorrow perhaps?

Re: PULL - iPad device controller - Speed up your workflow!
that subnet mask setting is fine. i recommend setting your Mac back to "Using DHCP" and then rebooting your router. when everything comes back up, check the IP addresses of both the Mac and iPad, and use those numbers (the Mac's IP in Lemur on your iPad, and the iPad's IP in the Pull Max device)......

Re: PULL - iPad device controller - Speed up your workflow!
Well I'm pretty sure I found my router's IP. It's listed in system preferences and also on the iPad in preferences > wi-fi. So I changed my computer IP to mirror my router's IP except for the last digit, which I just added 1 to... My iPad's IP was already identical to the router's IP except for the ...

Re: RELEASED! - iPad device controller - Speed up your workflow!
Hi aioffermann - did you manage to get it working once you replaced the files? One other thing, it works on both 64bit and 32bit. Yes, I managed to merge the folders. Now the device looks fine, but after I enter my IPs and click large template, nothing has happened. Also, I'm new to Lemur so I trie...

Re: RELEASED! - iPad device controller - Speed up your workflow!
Maybe I shouldn't be getting in touch via this thread but for now I will. So I'm stuck. I follow the installation process, but I can't type in my IP to the Max device... Also the max device itself looks a bit messy. There's a ton of balloons saying "comment" and "textedit" and what have you. The onl...

Re: Can Clipping Damage Equipment?
For the most part, no - I'm pretty sure. I think you only have to be careful about going into the red with any analog component - you may want to overdrive it for the sound but if you do that alot it'll eventually wear out the component I thiiiiiiiink... I don't think going into the red is bad for t...

Re: Ableton's sampler altering sound of sample
Somewhat off-topic but I'd just like to note the interesting phenomenon of pitching down via increasing the original tempo of an audio clip with its warp mode set to repitch, and pitching down via sampler. Repitch preserves the fidelity much better.
