Can you achieve/elaborate the following routing in Ableton?
Hi!
I've got a question relating to the routing that Feed Me uses in this Rat Trap tutorial (see minute 2:22 to 5:00).

It seems like simple parallel distortion though I don't quite get what he means by the kick pushing the hi hats.

Yes, my bad about that one.antarktika wrote: No, it does not, it only requires Simpler. Otherwise only Suite owners would be able to slice to midi, which is not the case.

Re: Upgrade to Ableton 8 or wait?
Hey guys,
thanks for the replies. I've tried version 8 and I must say that its well above 7 in terms of features - especially those that speed workflow such as groups. Also "Slice to A new Midi track" doesn't work with simpler, it requires sampler, and the extract grooves is something that is great ...

Upgrade to Ableton 8 or wait?
Hey to everyone,
I am thinking to upgrade from Ableton 7 to 8 but as you understand this is a very confusing time for upgrading.
What do you think?
Noone knows if Ableton will offer a special discount to people who recently upgrade to 8. It will be completely unreasonable to pay now for the ...

Re: Anybody regret their Yamaha HS 50M monitor purchase?
I have a pair of the 80Ms. Much more extended low end than the 50Ms. The thing with the HS series is that they translate very well, are a joy to produce on and can hear effects, especially reverb tails very well, so there's never reverb overload!
I also have a pair of Focal Twins. Even though I ...

remember, all the excuses for not making music with 32 bit are documented here.
when you have 64 bit and someone starts talking about 128 bit operating systems, you can just copy and paste your posts from this thread.

Re: 64BIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
+100!!! for 64 bit support. With faster cpus and more available ram developers keep building much more hungry plugins with better sound quality that require even more ram. 64 bit at this point is a must. I have just migrated from Cubase 64 bit to Ableton 32 bit and I find it very limiting and ...
