+1000 I really can't emphasize how much pitchbend and modwheel will help to make better beats on move! Aftertouch is good but not enough for some proper synth playing!

I have the same problem, still trying to solve the issue with PSP after years!
Anyone found any noticeable solution in the meantime other than using VST2?

I noticed that overdub now toggles session record, and overdub off just does nothing (in Ableton Live 11).
Can you please take a look into that? it might be an easy fit for you but I tried forever without any luck to make it work (I'm not really good at programming ...

I want to change some midi messages from, for example, CC4 to CC50.
The first thing I was thinking is a M4L device that listen to incoming midi messages and remap them to whatever CC you want.
Do you know a device that does this?

Unfortunaly Live does not recognize vst plugins (maybe with the new VST3 would be easier but for now it can't).

The problem is, even if the VSTi outputs midi infos Live recognize it as an instrument, so for now I cannot see any other way to use it inside of a rack, only a M4L patch that ...

I want to play Effectrix with a midi keyboard so I was trying to route a midi channel to effectrix but unfortunately it didn't show up in the "midi to" dropdown menu.
Is it possible for effectrix to receive midi inputs or I need to move the keyboard-zone with midi learning or automations only ...

Tried that, it does not work. I don't know if you have you're push plugged in maybe it will work but otherwise it doesn't.
