i've not had any practical use for M4L for a good few years now and I'm looking forward to hopefully making something I'll actually find useful and helpful for my productivity

im interested in developing a little max patch that i could control using touch osc or similar on my phone that would allow me to quickly scroll through the arrangement without mousing over.

does anyone know if it is or isn't possible to access this through the ableton api?

it just occured to me that my iphone would be great to be able to just drag my finger along and move the play head along the arrangement, or up and down to scroll along tracks as a little app.

is there something that already does this because it'd be a little thing that'd be very useful and ...

My 2010 macbook pro is starting to feel a little rusty.
It's a 2.4ghz i5 and i think to shake things up a little I want to put in a solid state drive and maybe bump up the RAM from 4gb.
Any thoughts on the best SSD for the job? My current HD is only 320gb anyway so i reckon i'd maybe get a 500gb ...

Can anyone help me with using 'view detail_clip'?
I'd like to remotely set the detail view to that of the playing clip, regardless of whether the track view was previously been up and I'm unsure of what functions work with 'view detail_clip'.

I am using an APC40 and TouchAble but I would like TouchAble to not move the screen ...
