Is it drifting, or is it just me?

Time Signature & Tempo
I'm trying to determine the times signature & tempo of this track. I want to set loop points so I can work on recreating the track part by point. But I don't know if my technique is way off, or if the track drifts... considerably. There might be time changes in there or something... Any way, if ...

Re: "Fixed Length" not Working
I know it’s been a minute, but I want to confirm, fixed length does not work in Abelton 9 with Push 1.
I hold down the “Fixed Length” button & it never flashes.

Re: Am I the only one that feels like Push 2 is useless?
He is dismissing Push because he can do all the stuff with maschine and a KB, that is pretty much missing the point. Each product has is streghts, weakneses and its own workflow (which will suit some individuals but not all). Also buying stuff just because of the hype doesn't seem very wise, specia...

Re: Am I the only one that feels like Push 2 is useless?
Its also very useful as a chess board :) Live and Push together are perfect. Why compared it to other controllers, push is made for Live only, machine isent. About the options in both controllers its a bit like pears and apples, both nice and enjoyable but quite different fruits. Use Push as a delu...

Re: Push 2 - What about Push 1
I'm afraid I'm going to have to buy Push 2 to see how different the work flow really is. I'd hate to spend the money to find out its not much different other than the screen & display of wave forms. I'm not too worried about seeing the wave form on the controller. My Push doesn't ever leave my &...

If you don't already own Ableton Live 9 Standard, it's going to cost you $1100 to get both.

Re: Push 2
Hmm, what i dont understand is: why should i upgrade from Push1 to Push2, is there something what Push 1 cant do ? The layout looks similar. Only for the improved LCD ? So far it sounds like the visual sample editing is the main thing Push 1 will miss out. So it sounds like I'll be able to edit sam...

Mulritimbral instruments
If I'm using a mulritimbral instrument like Kontakt, how do I keep the AU window in view when I move to other tracks?
Right now, it's only visible when I'm on the track containing the AU. I'd like to be able to play on midi chanel 2 or 3 while tweaking the sound, or changing instruments.

Re: Newbie Q: turning off the fancy scale modes
No, there is a mode where you can set it to not repeat. I think you hold the scale button and then hold shift. Or go into Scale. And then hold shift. You can change it between thirds or fourths, in two different directions, plus one that is no repeats. Thanks (even though you answered someone else ...

Re: Timing problems recording guitars
Obviously there is a latency when I just strum the guitar, ie. the sound of the amp model emerges from the speakers a little bit after I hear the direct sound from the pick/guitar, but that is okay as the actual sound of the guitar takes precedence when it comes to keep in time with the other track...

Re: How often do you use presets?
I absolutely positively hate buying instruments that don't let you tweak the sounds. I want to be able to control every minute detail of the sound I'm going to play. What if I don't like what the programmer "likes" what if his idea of a steinway, or a moog bass, or a brass section doesn't ...

Re: Someone new to recording here
All I am just learning Abelton for the first time. Do you guys record you "real" instruments first or your drums? I guess if you can quantitize it doesn't really matter right? It helps. However, It was never an issue for me. I play guitar/bass. I almost always start with a guitar riff, or...
