Re: 10 is announced!

There is no line /bezier tool for automations now ? I expectecd that at least, but the multiple midi clip feature brings that on par with cubase. I also think that the new push layout for midi step sequencing and playing is a cool idea. (Stolen from Novation Circuit, but that was a really cool idea,...

Re: Recording MIDI CC - does it work ?

Now its gettign strange - i tested it with the sending midi clip - it sends now Midi CC 102 (LPF cutoff) , and the receiving clip now records the MIDI CC value.

But its not recording when i twist the knobs on the prophet 12 module itself.

Re: Recording MIDI CC - does it work ?

Yes, the automation arm is ticked - i.e. the both small hollow dots near the arrow to the left.

I found this:

Sounds like a workaround - but honestly live does not record straight midi CC ?

Recording MIDI CC - does it work ?

The setup is: Abelton Live -> midi out to Prophet 12, sending notes - i want to capture the controller tweaks i make on the synth, while the generated sequence is running. I therefore created two tracks - one sending notes, and one just receiving the midi information. Problem is: I know the synth is...

Please provide configurable automation curves.

Please make automation curves, so we can apply some sawtooth, square, sine , bzier etc, with selectable grid length and intensity for the automation curves.

Let us store user automation curves, we can reapply or record and reuse.

Re: Tips for Making a Solid Sub-Bass

I was on the bass quest for quiete a while. I tryed everything, i.e. stacking, sidechaining, eq, etc. It turned out to be, the square wave is needed, i was fooled by all the sine /triangle remarks. Its probably related to which type of music you want to make. For techno /psytrance, this works: Your ...

Re: Omnisphere 2 hig increased load in ableton with some patches

idk I have an i5-4690 and I dont have any issues. Sometimes the more convoluted patches take a while to load but I have never hit 100% cpu load. But I never try to run 10 instances of omnisphere either lol. I only run 3 or 4 at a time, or Ill use the multi function; once I find something I like I f...

Audio Interface Performance important for VST performance?

Can somebody confirm me if they also experience a massive increase of omnisphere 2 real time computing consumption in comparison to the version 1 of omnisphere? With version 1 of the vst, i could run about 10 instances without any problem on my i7 2600k cpu. With version 2 i get 100% load on ableton...

Re: What would you buy?

For me its also a better audio interface. And my projects tend to grow in size, so that i getting near the end
of my processing power, so i would appreciate a XEON 8 core or more.
