Re: Win 11 Ableton 11.1 Intel 12th gen Vst’s not loading SOLVED

This is like bad company that won't go away. So I've been trying to work through this problem all week and it's come back. I logged a ticket with Ableton support . Thankyou team, but all my working 64bit Vst's are in the right place, No 32bit Vst's in the wrong place. and the problem still pe...

Re: Win 11 Ableton 11.1 Intel 12th gen Vst’s not loading SOLVED

So, Initially the above solution seemed to work, but since it reverted back to having the same issues. After about 3 days of trawling the internet and applying some logic I think I have found some more solutions. The break down is here. 1, swapped to motherboard graphics to see if any improvement, a...

Re: Ozone 9 Standalone Crashes a lot

Hi There, This has been a problem for me this month and it's been bundled in with other issues to make it really confusing, including and not limited to a dodgy power supply on my pc. I assume your application is just shutting down, and not actually crashing your PC correct? Believe it or not I stum...

Export/Render length incorrect.

Punch in and out length differs from export length slightly. by 1 bar in fact. Previous versions of Live didn’t do this, and I only noticed it whilst exporting in the last few days. For heads up, I’ve been using Live for quite sometime so know the obvious shortfalls on export, but this is odd. Anyon...

Re: Post your most obscure Ableton Live knowledge

This has probably been mentioned. But 'Shift' and hold to select tracks from left to right. i.e the way you would select a list of files in Windows. Allows you to change all volume parameters globally with one fader without affecting the individual value. Good for global volume adjustment in mixing....

Colour Folders

Ability to colour folders would be very helpful, and speed up workflow. I have added folders to 'Places' but still have to scan up and down until I find the one I want. I see this as an extension to collections and figure it would work really well. As a bonus it would also enhance the look and feel o...

Re: Reversing Komplete Kontrol

Hi I'm running Komplete Kontrol 2.3 with no issues, I'm also doubtful it's a direct software issues considering the history of these major developers like NI and Ableton I feel you need to always consider it's about how your system is set up, which is always down to individual needs, there could be ...

Laptop/Push swing arm

I’m considering buying a laptop swing arm to mount my push on, because of studio configuration.

Can any one suggest a good solid and useable one to buy, ? from experience.

Cheers in advance.

Re: Sonic Faction Gone?

To be honest it’s a shame, but if your DSP skills are as good as their’s it’s probably worth investing them in a full time job with a larger company.

That’s me purely speculating. :|

Re: Suite 9 to standard 10? Downgrade?

I think you can still buy Max for Live as a separate product so that non suite users can still access it. Whether or not that still applies I don’t know now, but that should cross over to Live 10. Of course the Ableton licence team will be able to answer this question. Which ever way you look at it ...

Re: Is there a plugin for automatic drag and drop into simpler or sampler after recording?

My thoughts. There’s probably a max patch for something like it over on M4L.com. You can of course make one or adapt a patch if you have the skills, Robert Henke’s Granualator II has a record function, that’s downloadable from Ableton. Are you using a foot pedal? Looper ? What are you looking to do ...

Re: Please Help - Midi Keyboard Playing Multiple Tracks

Indeed this is true. If your new to Live, can I suggest you take advantage of the help tutorials in built to live, they are worth running through as of course any on YouTube about the basics. Live also has a great manual that will teach you things quickly and efficiently. Not that I want to put you ...

Re: Best soundcard to buy?

If I had some savings and I could sneak one past my wife. I would go for the original Arturia AudioFuse. I.e the smaller of the current gen. It has all the connectivity and the performance I need for my set up and style of music, more importantly would cover everything for both live and studio use. ...
