Hi all,
I'm starting a podcast called 'radance Radio' and I'm looking for IDMish kind of DJs and producers to feature. I'm not bothered by success or how famous you are, just looking for DJs who can do good sets that are looking for more promotion. I'm certainly open to other kinds of genres of ...

DJ friendly GUI?
Hi, does anyone know of a plugin that would work as a GUI for DJs? Something where I could map a knob to a graphic knob inside of a separate window to show where it is set to. My MIDI controller uses endless rotary knobs so it's hard to tell what I have something set to.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Re: Performing with stems and mixing them with mastered tracks
Easiest option is to just turn down the deck B, though you might have to turn it down quite a bit to match. Otherwise you're going to have to use some kind of compression and or limiting on the output of the step track to compensate. I'd try the first option first though, much easier than trying to ...

Performing with stems and mixing them with mastered tracks
In my live set I want to perform with grouped stems of the tracks. At the moment I have a 'deck A/B' style setup, but 'deck A' is a group track with bussed stems of each of my tracks. I have 5 tracks; kick + bass, percussion, synths, misc sounds, reverb + delay. However, I want to use other mastered ...

Re: Create your own choir voices
Absolutely, if you can get the voices.
If I had access to a good choir singer, or if I could do it myself then I would record 'ooh's and 'ahh's about 20 times and load each one into Simpler, or any sampler would probably be fine. I would then loop the sample so it sustains forever. As long as you ...

I'd back up my stuff if I were you, that could be your hard drive dying.

Ability to colour inserts
I would like to be able to add colour to the inserts, in the same way that I can with channels. I find that with complex chains I get very lost very easily when I start to group separate inserts together, eg, when putting gated reverbs on snares and anything else where I would create long chains ...

Are you sure that the problem isn't with your computer itself? Perhaps it has a dated CPU.

Groups within groups
I'd like to be able to group tracks inside of other groups. I often find that I'd like to compress different parts inside of a group together before reaching the bus compressor on the group track. It would mean that I can be more efficient and won't have to create new busses every time I want to do ...

Re: Filling out the sound.
It's the lazy fix but adding white noise with a high pass filter and side chain compressing it to the bass drum in the main section of the track should make it sound more 'busy'.

IMO there's no way they ever played Football in no mans land, when you see pictures of what it looked like from the shelling it was entirely craters from the shelling. And I just see it as unlikely.
