Re: Recording next empty clip with MIDI foot controller?
I own ClyphX Pro, but don't know how to do that there. Any ideas where I can find examples for that? ClyphX Pro has examples but I can't find my case there.

Re: Recording next empty clip with MIDI foot controller?
Thank you pushtotalk, I'm with Catalina too, but as I can see in Bome page: "MIDI Translator Pro 1.8.4 is fully compatible with Catalina". So it seams that pro version works on Catalina. The problem is that I still don't know how to go to the next empty clip in track. Let's imagine that I ...

Recording next empty clip with MIDI foot controller?
I want to be able to record next empty clip in track, just like using a "New" button in MIDI mappings, but without stopping my current playing clip. This can be bone easy if I press "record" on next (or any empty) clip in my current track (session view). When I do that, ableton w...

+1
I have Logic only for recording Take Folders. You'll save me a lot of time and the Live will be ultimate song writing tool.

Manual MIDI mapping questions
Hello,
I'm wondering is it possible to map Quantization to external controller. I mean option+U shortcut. Where can I map that in manual mappings or may be I need to to send particular CC?
Also is it possible to clear all notes from clip with external controller?

Metering scale
Hello, I'm very confused which metering scale is used in AL9? Is it VU or digital? If it is digital why it has +6? Tne maximum in digital is 0. http://media.soundonsound.com/sos/jun00/images/meteringfaq.l.gif In manual is written: Because of the enormous headroom of Live’s 32-bit floating point audi...

Pops when playing MIDI
Hello, I have very simple setup AKAI MPK Mini -> MacBook Air ( Core 2 duo 1.6 ghz, 4GB of RAM, SSD drive). I'm loading only one MIDI instrument, mo mater which (drums, piano, synth.. etc.) from Ableton's library. And when I play more than 3 tones it starts to pop. If I record, the pops are still the...
