Any updates on this?

Right now it creates a .alc file which I'm not interested in.

I know I can render the wave to a file but it's a really slow process.

It's very practical that I can open .wav files in other apps while Live is running. There is no need to keep files locked and even if they are changed just update the .wav once Live is active again. Right now every time I want to upload a .wav file to my google drive i have to exit the app completel...

Bitwig has it and it's useful. Live used to have it but it was replaced by something a lot more cumbersome to use. Live grooves also don't get applied to new tracks automatically so you have to manually select them every time.

So I can move my self made Sampler presets between computers and send them to friends.

I'm starting to learn Reaper now which has comping. Once I get the hang of it I'll probably try to switch.

Hmm. yes, but I can't snap to that.

Reaper has the ability to view the groove layout in arrangement view so it's easier to place drum samples for example

I'm wondering if I can achieve that in Live too.
