i am also thinking of taking a course, but with the hopes of polishing up skills and making contacts for jobs. is this course good for that, or is it more of a school just for learning skills?

downloaded AAS VA. it was good, but turning off the effects changes the sound.
i think automat and zebra cm sound just as good if not better...
but i want to wait and see what the live version is like,.

why dont you try the free app that comes with mac. iMovie.
its really easy for quick editing and cutting up of clips.
dont know how advanced you want to get, but that one does a simple job

i have automat and zebra cm. both are free synth downloads. i think they sound amazing. does anyone have these synths that they can compare to Ableton Analog (or AAS's Ultra Analog)?

can i assign mute and solo to a midi controller or key assignments now in the new drum racks?

i wonder if the sound will be the same for the new live instruments as thez are for AAS.
also, for Electric, i didnt notie an effects section like there is for AAS electric piano, so mazbe there are differences in sound?

Is it better to render the track first and then open the rendered file in a new project and to put themastering plugins in there, or will it be the same result if i just put the mastering plugs on the master channel of my track before its rendered?

like Automat for Mac OSX. a few buttons by the top that create random patches. i know that some people like to create sounds by hand, but with a random button, i can come up with a library of presets that are very different in 30 moinutes with Automat ( which also sounds a bit clearer than Operator,...

next time research a product before you buy, and test the demo.

what is the advantage to mastering the rendered file from Live in a seperate app? why not just use Live? what would be a benefit of using a different app?
