Not meant to be snobby or anything; but IMO the best way to avoid it is not to have any crash at all ;-) I tend to agree with your comment about the first time a crash occurs, but even then this information might be useful for Ableton. They should switch to HTML help, much more convienent to browse while on the machine.

For printing out PDF is ok though.

My concern is that i wont be able to do that with a newer version of ableton, because i dont want to overwrite, or delete, newer vst versions or extra presets that are in the live 9 default library that werent in the live 8 one As far as the infos go the L8 library stays independent of the 9 versio...

I often produce while watching Youtube tutorials for inspiration, and this guarantees crashes on a regular basis (Live and/or ASIO is so sensitive when several sources use it).
