Re: MPD32 - Pad Cork Mod Problems

Fixed my own problem. Pad Threshold (not Pad Sensitivity) settings in the Global menu need to be adjusted to compensate for the corks improved response. Threshold settings lower than "9" on the MPD32 will trigger ghost notes and keep the pad firing. A setting above 9 will only fire the pad...

MPD32 - Pad Cork Mod Problems

I just bought an MPD32 and installed pad corks from mpcstuff.com and while the sensitivity has improved tremendously, I think the corks have made it TOO sensitive. I think that the corks are remaining in contact with the trigger after I hit them and screwing up the rest of the pad grid. I looked at ...

Christian,

Thanks for your help. I just sent the email to your attention. Interestingly enough, the crash was logged in Pro Tools which I assume means it is a Pro Tools issue. Perhaps there is something in the log you can see as an issue?

Live 7 is crashing ProTools 8 while in ReWire

...or vice-versa. Probably a Pro Tools issue seeing as though it was just released..... My normal use of Session Drums with Pro Tools has been halted with the new version. Nearly immediate crashes as soon as I start the transport. The current session I'm working on has 4 tracks of audio in PT and 1 ...

I love Session Drums. I've been practicing on my TF with aspirations to perform with it eventually. I've done a few tunes with them and my pals all commented on how sick the drums sound. I haven't dug into the multimic kits yet. The stereo packages are great and are flexible. I'm thrilled that they ...

Alert: Live wannabe from Digi

Just saw this new Digi RTAS plug-in.....

No Leopard support yet for LE, but a shiny new poser *cough* software instrument.

Soooo glad that I use Live.....

Seriously.... I wouldn't mind seeing a few more. The manual is pretty good and if you poke around here you can pretty much find your answers, but it's nice to see stuff in action. YouTube is good for things but those user tutorials take a long time and depending on how well they are scripted and pro...

Re: Random, simple Forum props - unmoderated home, sweet hom

I need to be sanitized! Hilarious!

Yes, I do dabble in the Digi. Only when necessary and only as of late because I am now the proud owner of a Leopard-infused, Pro Tools incompatible, MBP.

Get a pony with an apple logo on its rump.
Then get a small monkey with an airhorn to stand on its back while you film it.
Post the results here please.

Random Forum props - unmoderated home, sweet home!

Just a timewaster but.... I realized that I really like this forum and how real it is. It's a necessary daily web stop. You have a question? People help you. You have a stupid/lazy question? People eloquently teach you not to ask one again. You do something well for others? You are praised. You wann...

kazaam,

there is also a live pack available in the "Downloads" section of this site that contains some info specific to the Axiom.

Scroll down about midway on the page to the 3rd Party Products set.

Install that and read through the lessons. They set up the Axiom in detail.

Personally I think Ableton could do a better job explaining some of the warping concepts (like how to do it for newbies) and some of the instrument chapters are pretty short for the complexity of the instrument (Sampler). +1 for some things needing better explanation. Personally, a big one in my op...
