don´t download the drivers from edirol, they are diffrent to the ones from roland. on roland they also have a deinstaller to get rid of the ones from edirol.

i have a problem running my edirol ua-5 under MacOS X [1.3.5] in Advanced mode [24 Bit].always when i switch it on, i get the the info that the extension doesn´t work and that i shall reinstall it [driver]. the drivers are the ones you can download on the edirol site.

anybody the same experience ...

thanks no problem anymore, just have to use
HD--->LIBRARY--->AUDIO--->PLUG-INS
instead of
HD--->LIBRARY--->AUDIO--->PLUG-INS---> VST

what i don´t understand is, always when i check the path for plug-ins in the preferences it tells me " not choosen " . after i shut preferences and opened them again, it is in the right path , otherwise i couldn´t see the [dma] plug-ins, but it shows me " not choosen " !

i have problem with using reaktor 4 as fx pug-in in ableton 3 in os x
[ 10.3.5].
ableton doesn´t accept the folder i determined in the preferences for the plug-ins. instead ableton always takes the one in ----> HARDDISC-USER-LIBRARY-AUDIO-PLUG-INS-VST
when i put the carbonized fx plug-ins of ...

don´t understand me wrong, but i don´t wanna play their bug detector. i have enough to do with the old live 3 bugs !
is there also any sex possible with reaktor 4 and ableton live 3 ?

still stable with a powerbook g4 667 MHz or is CPU my next problem?

i do this with a 667MHz powerbook in OS9 ( Edirol UA-5 interface, midisport 2, pocket control controller ...

basic situation:
667MHz powerbook, Ableton Live 3.0.4, Edirol UA-5 and the latest ASIO drivers from Edirol

when i try to change from soundmanager to ASIO i always get the error message: Failed to open the audio device UA-5......

any ideas, suggestions why this happens?

are there any news for the automation problem for reaktoer4 as a FX VSTi plugn in ableton 3! some knobs, faders work some not?
ableton surface describes everything as "unused" etc. ??
