[amo] [8b20] Vocoder

Vocoder may force Live to mute soundcard. Noticed that when vocoder's bandwith exceeds 135%, mutes soundcard (I heard some kind of "click" and left channel went dead, while the right one played silent pink noise just like when an external microphone 's on). Checked that after it happens, t...

Re: [amo] empty renders in arrangement view

Yup, that's how it should work, but actually it doesn't. just recorded track from session view (f9), then stopped both the clips and main player (You know - that on the top bar), then switched to arrangement but the "back to arrangement" button didn't work, had to f10 manually, as mentione...

8b19: duplicating notes in clip view

In clip view, when duplicating notes, AL doesn't reffer to clip grid resolution (cmd-1/2) - pastes the copied notes just right after the original ones instead of puting 'em in appropriate location in next grid part.

In AL7 one could duplicate marked notes accordingly to set grid resolution.

Re: 8b19: empty renders in arrangement view

'llo, Just checked it with AL7.0.14 and the button toggles automatically when switching from session to arrangement mode, so one may simply render the recorded almost straight away and without manually toggling the button. The rendering mode stricly depends on the chosen working mode (session/arrang...

[amo] empty renders in arrangement view

live may render an empty file regardless on settings in arrangement view. 1. record an arrangement from the clips in session view (f9) 2. switch to arrangement mode (tab) and set the region for renering * live seems not to toggle "back to arrangement" button (f10), so when render starts it...

[4889] 8b19: analog mutes (session view)

in session view, when changing parameters (especially vol/filters envelopes, cutoff/res), analog mutes until the loop's end.

robocop - there is nothing to investigate - according to ableton support, the latest soft update for airtport causes music software including ableton live being extremal unefficient. To prevent that it is suggested to switch the airport off when working with sound. Apple crew is working on that as t...

the easiest way is to put the loop into completely separated channel and route its fader to one f-channel and the rest of the song to the other one, then You just change the xfader's position and voila.

(xfader - alt-ctrl-f or alt-cmd-f)

as far as i know .asd goes with the exact audio file, so the only way to solve the problem is to hide all the .as files in os preferences
