Thank you as ever for all your help through the years!

Re: changing timing of vocals for a remix
Hi Tarekith Thank you! This works! Yes I've put the original tempo in dropped a vocal in which is saying 162bpm (rather than the 134 it should be). I'm then choosing complex pro and then clicking on the very first warp marker and choosing "warp 134bpm from here". this sets the drop down bp...

Re: changing timing of vocals for a remix
Hi Tarekith
Thank you for getting back to me - hope you're okay.
This sounds like it might work! Booting up Live now.
I'll let you know how it goes.
Many thanks

changing timing of vocals for a remix
Hi there I'm doing a remix for a pop band and turning it into a house mix. I've not really done much of this before.... They sent me all the stems through. The original track was 134 bpm and the first thing I did was set the bpm in Live to 128bpm. I imported all the stems and it doesn't line up at a...

Re: Live 11 delaying launching scenes
Hi Tarekith Thanks for the reply. There's not loads of plugins or anything like that to find - it's literally just audio with a chanel for midi from a Roland tb-03. Like you say though, I guess it stiil needs to find where all these audio files are. The mbp was also getting really hot during all thi...

Live 11 delaying launching scenes
Hi there I had a a problem with my 2012 mbp running Live 11 grinding to a halt with beachballs after even moving the mouse pointer. It was hapily running my live set which is 10 songs broken down into scenes and channels. It's a huge 200 gig folder and the set has about 120 channels with all the dif...

connecting 2 macbooks via midi
Hi there Apologies if covered elsewhere.... I'm trying to connect 2 2012 mbps together via midi. Mbp 1 has Live 11 on it with me triggering scenes for my live show. Mbp 2 has Magic visuals for my live show. Up to this point I've been triggering the visuals on the second machine manually at gigs. Thi...

Re: Live Suite 11 Crashing
Hi there Thank you very much for getting back to me about this. I spent 2 hours trying things out yesterday and hopefully I've sorted it. I randomly tried clicking on things, turning wifi on and off. One thing which I tried was plugging in an external SSD which has some recent projects on. I don't k...

Live Suite 11 Crashing
Hi there I have upgraded from The Live 9 suite to Live 11 Suite. I say upgraded but it's the demo mode of 11 which I'm using for 60 days before I purchase. It's on a 2013 mbp running High Sierra with 8 gig of RAM and 500 gig SSD. I use it with a Novation launchpad X. It was all working fine for a fe...

content and sample packs for Live to jam with
Hi there I make my own stuff using Live (Suite), Arturia's V collection, some NI synths, a novation launchkey and a Launchpad X for live gigs. I've got a 15 year old son who is starting to get into listening to drum n bass and house etc. I want to get him into Ableton and using my Launchpad X. He's ...

Live and Novation Mininova
Hi there My mate wants to use his Mininova with Live Lite 10. He's using a behringer uca222 audio interface. The mininova is connected to his mbp using usb and the audio out from the mininova is going into the audio interface. We've successfully managed to record midi and audio into a midi and an au...

Re: using an external ssd
Thanks for this - sounds like I should be okay. I think I'll have enough room on the internal SSD for synth patches and justuse the external for saving live sets.

Re: using an external ssd
Thanks for this - good to hear that it doesn't essentially matter where stuff goes.
Yes I learnt with another mbp that you need to turn the internet off otherwise all kinds of problems of sets not loading as HDs maxed out etc. Is at least 20% free always a good rule to apply?
Cheers
