Im a bit rusty with push, it's been gathering dust for a year or so but I'm sure I used to be able to lo...

noob question from a long time user
I've been using ableton solely since 2006 when I ditched cubase. I've recently set up a commercial studio and have a much higher work rate (based around live tracking bands and whatnot, not so much the electronic production live excels at) and started to find live isn't really very efficient at that...

I did play around with it a bit last night but couldn't find what I needed in under 5 mins so I got on with my work.
This is just what I need, i'm sure i'll discover more tricks as I go and after i've read the flippin' manual....... Thanks ever so much!!

Re: Mixer snapshots
Wow thats it? [name] all/snap? that stores all settings?
Does the clip have to be playing whilst making fader adjustments in order to remember them? Or can I just make a clip then press play in order for the current setting to be saved?
Thanks! This is a game changer for me

Aside from Kapture, are there any other methods of achieving mixer (and device) snapshots in ableton?

Re: [HELP] - Installing on one SSD or External Drives? 2014
My advice...... Install Win 7 instead. Ryder, Why do you say Win7 instead? It's Win7 I've got at the moment running Live, Maschine etc. I've got Win8 on artwork machine (Photoshop/Flash/Premiere) and I don't mind the OS. Does it not play ball with Live or something? It's meant to give quicker times...
