It works if i shorten the note but thats not really a solution, If i want an arpreggiated sound until the very end of the loop.....or something else.


I mean if i put an atmosphere or any other (Not NI instrument) on the same track with the same clip, it doesnt keep playing.

Does noone of u all use FM8 or Massive?

If a note is set at the very end of the loop, the fm8 will play again when it comes back into the loop even if there is no midi note.

I would be positiv about live if i could automate the fm8 matrix which is very essential for me. Imagine u have found the instrument that gives u exactly what u`ve always needed and becuase of the host it cant be used properly.

But i even said "try to get along somehow, cause live`s concept is ...

example:

FM8 or Massive on a midi track.

loop from 1 to 9 in arrange view.

fm8 plays a chord from 7 to exactly 9.

when live goes back into the loop again, the fm8 keeps playing.

The same with Massive, but not for example with Atmosphere. So i guess its a problem with NI-vsti`z

live would be alright if it had:


- a solution for the 128 parameter-problem
- detachable windows (espacially splitting for dual monitor ARRANGE - MIXER)
- Folder Tracks

I think some things will never come because ableton chosed a software concept that has advantages for changing and improving ...

seems that live really sucks....

is it possible to automate parameters in the FM8 Matrix?
i dont know how, can only find effect parameters or basic midi controls.

i made a file called Options.txt, within i wrote "-_EnsureKeyMessagesForPlugins"

, but where do i have to move it to? its still on my desktop Cant find any Preferences Folder.

The browser option on NI-Instruments is not working in Ableton.

I tried to type in , for example "chord" but it wasnt writing anything.

Its anoying because i have many FM7 sounds in the library and they`arent hooked up to any attributes.

This also concerns the Massive of NI and probably reaktor ...

I'd need a bit more precise description, on how to do it:

- drag the clip in a new set
- Leave the tempo at 120?
- Choose "Warp from here (start at 120 BPM)", or something else?
- then, what is point 1467? Bar 1467? Here the track you sent is only 86 bars..

just sent u the track.

i use BEAT. After a certain point in this track the error occures after using the automated warp modus (warp from here with 'Projecttempo'). It happens in any case at point 1467 with clip 1/16 (try it there)

also happens with 6.0.10
