So heres a question.... I trigger clips on with the fader start; thats all good. But the button sends 2 codes (0=off, 127=on) When the 127 is sent, the botton is illuminated. When the 0 is sent, the button is dark; therefore, its a toggle. I want Live to realize when the 127 is sent, to start the cl...

Help with Novation Drumstation and Live 6
Whats up guys? I have decided to start using an external device with live. The thing about the Drumstation, is that its just a sound module, meaning I need some sort of sequencer to trigger the sounds. Instead of getting some sort of sequencing VST or something like that, I thought Id try to figure ...

Assigning Midi commands for Looping
So I have been trying to set up some buttons to do looping in live by using the Clip View. I went down to the Loop area and clicked the set button and assigned a button to it, and clicked the length button and did the same. Everything was working cool, Until I threw in a different clip and tried to ...

I was having trouble with this too. I got an MPD24 and tried to setup all I could to get the mouse gone. As far as I have tried, It will still be needed. In the meantime though, I have incorporated a Nostromo n52 gamepad. It has macro functions to it, so pressing one button simulated a chain of butt...

Look guys
This is kinda like cheating in a way. Im really all for the manually cutting and chopping, and making it something of your own. But if you need something quick and easy (and really fun to use actually), then windows users should google search the GLITCH VST for use in ableton. Ive found if you progr...

You know what, nevermind. Seeing that either no one knows, or no one gives a fuck (I dont mean you Luxdivon). Either way, if anyone knows of a way to map those functions in live I'd love to know, but I have found a temporary solution for those who might be curious. I realized that I had a Nostromo n...

Im not sure how the Behringer works, cause ive never used one (I was thinking about getting one, but got an MPD 24 instead), but some reasoning through computing and sound would lead me to believe that the Master Out on the controller applies only to the Inputs on the controller itself, not for the ...

Help with Advanced midi commands please
Alright, so Im slightly new to this, and I figured I'd get a little more detailed help in the newbie forum. So here goes... I got an MPD24, and it actually doesnt suck, meaning I get no knob glitching or anything, so Im happy. I want to actually do DJing with this thing in a live setting rather than...

Midi Mapping Help
Im trying to Map navigation commands with Live's Midi Mapping and my MPD 24. Im looking to DJ, not use this as my DAW, and I want to lessen the importance of a mouse (I like to be hands on rather than clicking). I want to use the triggers on my pad to navigate the clips, and I want to use the knobs ...

I believe its the Play Transport button... whatever. It sends a Midi start command, and it should sync things back up. Do that on the master

Im trying to set up certain things in Ableton with my MPD24, just got it today. Im using Ableton's Midi Mapping for all the buttons. I need to know how to map out using buttons as a cursor, so I can highlight over clips, and also bring up their clip information. Along the same lines, I want to know ...
