Hello.
I´m Beta-Tester. I have the same and find the way also very cumbersome. Ableton says: "I completely understand your point, (...) it is simply the way the Live 9 browser has been designed." Just looks different , I think.
I was strongly discouraged to set this as a suggestion in the beta forum ...
