I have seen the boxed version listed for same price as download on some websites, but I have seen boxed version for $50 more on other websites. Also for live 9, just the box without a serial could be bought seperately for $50 dollars......but it included a printed manual.

Just FYI for some of you older cats like me that prefer a printed manual. I inquired about boxed set and was informed via email that the backup disks will be replaced by a usb stick, and NO PRINTED MANUAL. Just the pdf on the usb stick. I sent a request to support informing them that pressing the Session Record Button (on the Push 2) does NOT give me a count in once a midi clip is formed. That request was sent last week (before we started comparing it to the software GUI, etc.).

Response from Ableton support:
This behaviour is indeed reproducible, and I agree that it should be changed. I will discuss this issue with my colleagues if it's a bug resp. add it to our Feature Wishlist.

It works correctly in the software GUI if you select "Start Playback on Record" in the preferences.

When you press the Session Record Button in the software GUI, count-in works like it is supposed to work. You get a count in every time regardless. Only when you push the Session Record Button on the Push 2 does it omit the count in after a midi clip has been created.
