Hello Ableton community,

I released past week my first album on my own netlabel, it's a work in which I've put a lot of efforts and I would be really happy if some of you can dedicate a bit of their time to discover more about it.

Ableton was the main sequencer and I also used many of it's effects ...

I'll don't enter the debate about what is better ... A DJ set with three Technics or an Ableton set ... But I'll try to explain my vision of the difference and where I situate Jeff Mills in it.

This definitely limits my beta testings as I only use Reaktor as VST instruments/EFX, no other VST.

Sorry for the double post guys, looked at the forum before posting but missed the previous one...

Difference on my side with previous post is that the problem never occured with the previous Beta, only the 8b10.

Here the problem :

NOTE : This problem never happened with previous beta releases.

I start a new session, I load REAKTOR 5.1.5.002 on a MIDI track
I load a Reaktor ensemble
I hit play
I hit 'configure'
I turn a knob on my Reaktor ensemble to assign it a MIDI controller

Not a real bug I guess but something very surprising at first when used to Live since a while :

When I click on 'Bank', 'Sub-Bank' or 'Program', it acts immediately and select a number without having the time to go through the number list.

I've been used to click and look at the number list before ...

If i understand this correctly then what you are saying is that there is more validity in learning to program a synth than just using random sounds

Right but it's also pretty exciting (imo) to tweak knobs and hear the effects of each one on the sound, a knob well 'turned' can provides better results than any sort of randomize things.
