When using the looper with a pedal the first loop records fine then the next loop stops recording after about a second

works fine in B16. I have yet to try it with a pedal - although reports suggest this function isn't yet stable.

First of all make sure you're using the latest available beta before reporting a bug, it avoids a lot of double reports.

Once you've installed b16, let me know if you can still reproduce this. Also, in which state is the looper, when you jump to a locator? Play, record, overdub?

I can't reproduce that. Here is what I do:

- Record a loop in the Looper.
- Let is play.
- While it plays, and the Live transport is also playing, I click on a locator that is later in the Arranger timeline.
- The Looper keeps playing, and keeps being in phase with the transport.

If a loop is playing in the looper it will stop if I try to jump to a locator or later in the timeline in the arrange view.

It'd be great if timestretching and reverse functions were added to simpler especially as you can't set impulse as your default device on the drum rack.

Yeah, that would be amazing. I use guitar rig 2 for this at the moment but it's far from reliable.

When I play video on my new Macbook Pro. I get tearing in the image when played at full screen.

Apple replaced the machine but it's still happening. Has anyone else had any similar video issues when using a mbp?

Ableton as a fully funtioning audio/visual perfomance tool would be nothing short of incredible. with the powerful graphics cards now on the market and in most new laptops, it wouldn't even need to impeed processor power.

It seems somewhat strange that ableton have incorporated such amazing video warping features into live 6 but not having any way of exporting the warped clips.

I hope this was simply a time issue and this feature will be added to live 7.

loads of software is already universal. Wacom drivers and dfx Vst plugins have been universal since last year I can't really see an excuse for Ableton or any software developer making us wait. I hope we don't end in with the same limbo period as the classic-osx switch.

It's geat that Ableton have finally added mp3 support. But it would be even greater if you could drag your mp3s straight from iTunes into Live.

I thought this was just a bug in the beta. what on earth are they doing.
This is one of the reasons most people I know use live.
Bring it back please and with midi control functionality as well!
