Since I use PT's, I have always recorded to an external harddrive. Is this correct for Live? I know it takes a long time to save a session in Live, in PT's it just takes a few seconds.

Anybody???

When I load a session drum kit it will only play the session drum clips? In other word, how do you change the hits on the pad in the view to hit in the correct place, when playing other drum clips? I am probably wording this wrong, but basically I want to play ALL my drum clips with a session drum ...

When I am overdubbing audio in Live and "punch in" I can only hear the track when the recording begins and cannot hear the audio before that point. What am I doing wrong??

Pro Tools 7.4 now has elastic audio similiar to what Live has always had. However, in PT's you are able to "quantize audio". Can you do this in Live?

it's connected to a little pre-amp going to a digi 002, and a imac 2 gb. I have other guitars(strat and les paul) that don't buzz. When I touch the volume knob it stops but not completely. It buzzzs sometimes when plugged into my guitar amp but not too bad. The tele isn't that old so I don't think ...

I know all teles buzz a little, due to single coil pick ups, but mine is worse with effects like distortion. Any tele players out there?

Does anybody play a tele plugged into Live. Mine buzzs so loud I cannot use it. Anything I can do????

Ableton installation instructions have always veen very vague. I never know if I have installed this stuff right. On session drums, are the LE drums just for LE users or should everyone install?

Let me start by saying I really love Live and use it all the time. With that said, I must say that all Live's instruments are sub-par for the $$$ they cost. I won't go into a long rant but I would advise anyone to buy the latest version of Live for composing and spend the rest of your money on some ...

You probably need to mix everything down to one "mix" track, allowing you to use your faders to get a final mix. Then render to disk that final mix track. Anyway, that's how I do it in Pro Tools. You can also automate your various parameters like "volume" and do it that way. Maybe some one else can ...

I finally recieved my discs. Are those LE drums for Live LE users or do I need to install them too?

I have LOTS of music software on my computer. How do you check a Mac to see how much room you have left? I am about to install Session Drums and my mac has been a little wierd since I installed the rest of the Live 7 box set
I am using a intel imac 2 GB, 2.16Gz and a external HD

I cannot navigate to my rex files. I have Reason 4 but when I try to find it in Live there is n't anything in the Reason folder but some documentation. What am I doing wrong?
