Re: The sound does not sound good after Export.

^^ what he said MetricAB (new plugin) is fantastic for mix referencing. I like to use it with Sonarworks (room correction software) on the master channel. These two tools will arm you with all you need to diagnosing your issues. I.e., is my sound too quiet, too muddy, too uneven in volume, too thin,...

Add warp markers within Simpler slices

When slicing samples, I'll often warp the timing of individual slices to make them sync better with my drums. There should be a way to warp slices within simpler in the same manner you can warp audio clips, using warp markers. That is all. Thanks

push 2 skipping notes

hey everyone -- i've noticed that the pads on my push 2 'skip' a lot when finger drumming. in other words, when tapping out a kick+snare+hat pattern, the kicks or snares might flam a little bit as I do my drumming. It really disrupts my flow. does anyone else experience this issue? been experiencing...

Re: Tips for Making a Solid Sub-Bass

I like square waves the best for sub bass. in operator, do a square wave w/ lowpass filter at around 50hz with high resonance...then use saturator with the drive turned up ~6-8db to add some harmonics...and then add another lowpass filter (or two if you need it) at around 100-130hz to get rid of the...

Re: I still loathe the "slicing" in live

my main gripe is that you can't adjust sample start/end position via midi / push. if your chops don't come out how you want them, it is quite tedious to fix it with a mouse..

Re: Ughhh latency issues any help appreciated

You probably have a plug in causing the latency. This is why the latency would apply to only One set and not a fresh set. Could be a reverb, a mastering plug in, a vocal tuning plug in. Could just be a delay plug in set to have a certain amount of delah fully wet (although I doubt it is that one), ...

Re: High End Monitors

I'm a big fan of my Adam A77X's (especially after using Sonarworks). The three-way design gives you a nice wide soundstage and great frequency separation. I use my Adam's on a desk fairly close together (and close to me) and I get great results out of it. I know the Focal Twin's are very similar to ...

Sonarworks room correction software - amazing

Just purchased Sonarworks' new room correction software, and wanted to let you all know how amazing it is. I have a treated room and a pair of Adam A77X's, but was still struggling to make critical mix decisions that would translate on other systems. Thanks to Sonarworks, I now have a truly flat res...
