i use Live for multitracking. When i need PT compatibility, i just use the multitrack render in v.6 and import those files into PT and save the session. I use Live because i can get around it faster than other applications. There are a few less steps to doing some very basic stuff with Live than in ...

*- my friend Brian Kage tipped me to it. found out how to warp a whole track and then it was on!
*- i was pretty much dedicated to the MPC at the time, dabbled with Reason but never really thought of the computer as a complete solution for my own work until Live 4.

ya know, i have a console for that type of function. and i use it alot.
but i'd also love to see that in Live.

right now i just assign a key command with min/max values to the sends.

right click, or ctrl + click on the send knob.

choose enable send, or enable all sends.
