OnStageLive Pro works w/10. It's kind of pricey (monthly subscription) but it def. works!

Re: What Push setting causes Detail View to trigger?
For anyone who may come across this same problem:
I couldn't figure out a way to make Push 2 stop changing the view to show Detail View, so I downloaded a Max device that lets you toggle the Detail View easily: http://www.maxforlive.com/library/devic ... 0-butttons
Thanks!

Re: What Push setting causes Detail View to trigger?
Any ideas? Either it's such a stupid question that nobody wants to bother answering, or it's a tough one and nobody has the answer.

What Push setting causes Detail View to trigger?
Hello! Whenever I open a new set in Ableton Live, the song switches to Detail View, even if I've saved the song with Detail View hidden. This *only* happens when my Push 2 is powered on. In other words, if I open this same set without my Push 2 on, then the Detail View stays hidden. But if the Push ...

Re: How do I keep "Detail View" hidden — it keeps reappearing!
OK, I just found out that it's probably related to me doing something wrong with settings on my Push 2. I powered down all of my MIDI gear, and when I open the songs, they have the Detail View hidden. But when I turn back on my Push 2, the song switches to Detail View. What do I need to change with ...

Re: How do I keep "Detail View" hidden — it keeps reappearing!
Yeah, I've gone that route already: That is, I've saved all the songs with the detail view hidden, and then when I open it again, it's back to showing the detail view.

How do I keep "Detail View" hidden — it keeps reappearing!
Hi, all. For my live sets (that is, for when I'm playing live), it's easier if I have the detail view hidden. I can make it hide for one song, but each time I open a new song, the detail view is back. Do I have something set wrong with Live, or is this a quick of the software, such that it always re...

Re: Record VST audio from one Mac into another Mac
I'll actually use two soundcards — my Focusrite Clarettt for one, and ... I'm not sure which for the other. On another forum, someone had the good suggestion to send digital audio from the VST computer into the digital input on the recording/looping computer. That should shave off a few milliseconds...

Re: Record VST audio from one Mac into another Mac
Right, that’s how I’ll link them. But I’m curious for thoughts on latency when computer 1 records audio from computer 2.

Record VST audio from one Mac into another Mac
Hi, all, I'm hoping you can help with this question: Short version. Do you think it's feasible to output the audio from one Mac (running Ableton Live with VST instrument racks) and record it into another Mac running Ableton Live, without too much latency/timing issues? Longer version. My band is rec...

Re: moving part of my library to make room on hard drive
Hi, all: I've nearly maxed out my computer's hard drive (500GB SSD, MacBook Pro late 2014, FWIW), and am thinking I could move part of my samples and/or Ableton Library to my SSD card (basically an external drive). Can you point me to advice/articles/etc. on the best way to do this? I'm not sure whi...

All great feedback (manage tempo like a man — haha!). Thanks, all, for taking the time to help brainstorm some solutions. Very cool of you, and much appreciated!

Re: Need to open sets faster at gigs. Use a 2nd computer?
Thanks, Khazul, great ideas!
With a second computer, where I'm stuck is how I'd use it to drive the audio that's already routed through my other computer.
Would I literally need an A/B switcher, where it switched the audio from running into one computer to running into the other computer?
