Genres are funny. I remember when minimal techno was just a stripped down groove absent of a melody. Now anything with clicky beats and maximal production tricks is called "minimal". Electronic music is plagued by genres.

You can sort of rewire logic into live. Just send midi with your IAC buses if your on a Mac and use soundflower from Cycling 74. I've done this in the past with some success. Just remember to first boot up Live and then Logic.
