yes , i found DEXED is the only easy way tu build you custom banks...
i also tried midiquest... you can modify all parameters in realtime, is good... but for some reason is not fun...
you can learn a lot of how the DX7 works with midiquest....but until now , i dont know if is possible to manage and ...

i recently got a tx7.... is a great synth !!!
many people think its a crappy synth because there are many crappy patches for it...like bells and trumpets....there are just too many banks online...sometimes only 1 preset of one bank is worth to save..
i used DEXED to make my custom bank of good ...

I started reviewing some of the samples in my lib... a couple weeks ago .. :D
Im giving my musical failure/frustration a more technical aproach..
I found that many of them are 16 bit , 706 Kbps, 44100 Hz..
I am concerned about the 706 Kbps bitrate.. Is it to LOW ?

Ive been into sequencing and sampling for a while, i recently realized most of the sounds ive been using may not been of very good quality.... most of them come bundled into my workstation or i downloaded them from the net..
BTW: all this because of a comment of a know producer ...
