Absolutely. You make audio files swing by applying to them a swing Groove. For a classical swing feel, Grooves 16-99 and 32-99 work the best for me.

If neither of the grooves swing exactly the way you wanted, you can also make your audio loop swing the way you like manually by moving the warp ...

Using Swing in MIDI channel, but not sure if I can use it as well for audio file in Audio channels? Just curious..

I have been making my own racks lately, exactly for those dubtechno patches (more than anything because I am producing a lot of dubtechno at the moment) so I can transfer presets in a very efficient way between the home laptop and the studio tower.
I am also starting to write the name of the synth ...

So far the best way of working in Ableton for me was with (instrument) racks, in particular when it comes to Dub Techno.
I'd like to know which racks do you use most - like the line-up of instruments and for which particular genre do you use it?

I've been using this rather old HP for ages now and it's known to crash from time to time. So far I've been lucky and I do keep most production and VSTs on backup HDs.

Like how do you transport and where do you put/pack your decks/mixer when you fly? Do you pack it
as cargo luggage or you take it as hand luggage? Music equipment is a bit sensitive hence the question..

In case anyone is willing to talk about or share their arrangement templates please do so here. In my view arranging is more demanding part of track making than programing those 8 basic bars (or 4 or 16 as you like) from where the arrangement phase starts.
Any tips and ideas about that are ...
