Is there a max device that can show midi input info

As per the title, is there a Max device that can show all incoming midi information?

Re: Mac Users: AU or VST in Ableton?

Au apart from the waves plugins which work better as VST's for some reason.

Re: Multiple master outs.

Aha, thanks. Works a treat.

Well apart from the audio delay, but I can live with that.

Edit: Running it post FX instead of post mixer solves the delay. All good.

Multiple master outs.

Is it possible to configure ableton so it sends out two separate masters, one being a headphone out ( not cue ) So outs 1&2 become Master 1, 3&4 become master 2. FTR this is a 4 channel NI Tracktor Audio 2 interface I'm using. I've tried doing this on an aux return, but it doesn't see outputs 3&4?

Re: Live + Maschine a good idea?

To be honest, as a Maschine owner, just buy an Akai MPD32 and use drumrack and sampler to turn Ableton into your own more powerful version of Maschine with a much better editor/sequencer. ( Machine only addresses one core of a multicore processor so it maxes out far too easily ) Since I bought my AP...

Effects rack and instruments

Is there something similar to the effect rack for instruments in Ableton?

I ask because when using the APC 40 the effects rack assignable macros match the APC's device controls. I'd like that for an instrument too.

Re: Sample help?

Drumrack could really do with a 1 shot mode per pad.

Re: NI Maschine Sale!!!

Until they sort the "only addressing a single processor" issue then Maschine is a lame duck for me, it won't run more than two instances of Massive on my brand new MacBook Pro without maxing out. Forget about razor, forget about the Waves Plug-ins, it won't handle them. I bought Maschine to programm...

Re: Ableton and APC40 Question

you need to set the apc40 up as a control surface...
It's already set up as a control surface, it's just not controlling some of the parameters I want it to.

Re: Ableton and APC40 Question

Hey Peter, thanks for the answer. However that's what I don't want it to do, I kinda want it to just control that devices assigned parameter only when its track is selected and return to controlling as per normal when other tracks are selected. Otherwise if I assign a controller myself whenever I to...

Ableton and APC40 Question

New APC 40 user question here: Is there a way to assign device controllers so they only affect the track device selected and don't overide other parameters? If I say assign say controller 8 to a delay wet/dry level on clip one ( or on a send ) whenever I now touch that controller it automatically ju...
