Re: Everyone is buying Beats, but still feeling my beyerdynamic.
I wouldn't buy these, but I did, way back when they were released. I didn't mean to use them as production headphones at the time but did try to do so. It didn't take long for me to trust my $60 earbuds more than the Beats. Build quality is bad and they break down a lot I've heard from the people I ...

Re: Automate multiple VST knobs with a single clip envelope?
I'm not sure how to link a clip envelope to a macro knob but just in case you're not aware - you'll need to press 'configure' on live's vst instance and then click on the vst knobs etc you'd want to control, this way you'll have those knobs viewable in Live itself. Took me a while to realize this ...

They've already released an extensive feature list so if it's not on that I'd be surprised to see it in the final product. The only way if they can actually see how disappointed most of us are by not seeing it and decide to haul a$$ and fix it... but I doubt it. Me sad.

Still no luck but thanks for the help guys. I've updated everything I can think of but still nothing. Maybe a total reinstall is needed. :/

Ableton site not working for me..
Very sad. :( Haven't been able to view the new site yet, it keeps crashing both while using Explorer and Chrome (before anything shows up at all).
Can anyone tell me what components it uses so I can reinstall those? Doesn't seem to be the browser, I've updated Flash so don't think that's the ...

Re: the FINAL A B L E T O N WISH LIST : >>join it<<
Honestly, just fix the PDC and I'll be happy with Live 9 from what I've seen. Sure support for multiple monitors sounds like it should've been there years ago and it still isn't.. but from my personal point of view this is such a pain and slows me down more than anything else.

Re: Is Ableton really for Electronic Musicians?
Please don't send me PM's with links to other people's work. It's sad.
I don't want to add fuel to the fire but I actually often can't be bothered going through presets to find a sound I'm looking for, it's quicker to create a new one. This is of course depending on a few things, but in my case ...

Re: Scroll Wheel Zoom - For the love of GOD! Please.............
To be honest, I'd love to be able to let's say shift + left click anywhere in my arrangement to start playing from that point as opposed to finding that small line up above everything to just play from certain points.
Fix basic navigation, please.

Re: Ohmicide
Guitar Rig, Amplitube and Trash are all good alternatives. Personally I'm not a fan of Guitar Rig, and do like Trash, but it's down to personal opinion.
I agree with you on Ohmicide though, it's still a good plugin in my book.

Re: Scroll Wheel Zoom - For the love of GOD! Please.............
Since we can move around with Ctrl+Alt+Left Click I'd suggest adding a similar zoom function to Ctrl+Alt+Right click.
Scroll wheel would work too but in my mind the above suggestion would be better...?
...and yes, I have no idea how we can't zoom easier still after all these years. Good navigation ...

Re: PDC poll
The problem with pdc combined with no snap to grid makes automating plugins extremely frustrating compared to other DAWs.
Do we know if snap to grid doesn't exist in Live 9 yet? It's remarkable how small things that are so useful can slip by so many versions.
You probably know this trick already ...

Thanks all!
@Alice - that link doesn't really work I think but I'm glad the track works over there too! :D What speakers did you get?
@Chrissobo13 - Cheers, I usually screw up what the best bits are in my tracks and make too much room for the filler stuff. Thanks, I'll maybe work on odd rhythms ...

It really just looks like they're going over what's new in terms of the plugins, I'm pretty sure there's a LOT more coming. If not... meh.

Re: A Live wishlist from a Renoise user.
Added these three:
- Individual note edits such as pitch shifting one note on one instrument on bar X, not all notes on bar X.
- Fix the automation! It's very inaccurate right now, doing a jump from 0% to 100% on something won't happen exactly where you tell it to. Latency doesn't compensate ...
