I had some tracks that are fucked-up to warp! No other way then to warp bar after bar. So you'll end up with a few dozen warpmarkers! Use your ears to check if everything is still going the way it should!

If i'm correct, the toggle function on my BCR is at off for the mute buttons. Toggle on indeed means you have to press twice for some functions. But I have to say that I use my BCF in Mackie emu mode now, wich works great for me.

My soundcard is the MOTU MKII(USB)...sounds great, some drivers issues tho, but i think thats windoos related. Has a lot of ins and outs and can even be extended via ADAT. So another 8 I/O are available then. But my main purpose is recording in a studio enviroment. I've got the Behringer BCF-/BCR-20...

My latest purchase was the Focusrite Liquidmix. I was thinking of taking the plunge and buying Liquid Mix. You've had no problems then I take it? No problems at all. Great sounding box imo! Made a real difference in my mixes. The only thing is that because of latency the LM isn't really suitable fo...

Another approach to just filling up empty rack spaces is so seek out those signal processors & effects that have physical interfaces that allow you to manipulate your sounds in unique ways to really "play" the effects. Examples would be: -Alesis AirFX -Korg Kaos Pad -models 1, 2, 3, &...

My latest purchase was the Focusrite Liquidmix. It emulates 40 classic hardware compressors and 20 classic EQ's. I love it! And it was what I needed. It uses its own processor, so no strain on your CPU. But indeed, the best soundcard you can buy should have your first priority. Some FX plugins are gr...

All I can say is that you need to practice and that over and over again. Your ears will grow into mixing as you proceed. When I compare my first mixes to my latest, its soooo fucking different!! My listening really changed after years of learning to mix...and i'm still learning! I looked up everythi...

You don't have to match the songs bpm to the global bpm, but to the global 'grid'. No matter what your global BPM is. That way the song always stays in sync with the global BPM. Hope I answered your question correctly.

Yes yes, I am a Live freak, just didn't know about the scratch effect thing. I figured Live wasn't able to do so, tho...but you never know. Shame about the LED's! I read your post about the script...think I have to dig into Bomes thn! So the jog wheels are useless for me. What about the EQ section? ...

The guy must be unfamiliar with Live. The first time I saw it on the net, I rejected it as crap, can't be anything serious. But I can tell you that I was just a Shiny-GUI-horny bitch!! I've used Cubase since the Atari era, but I never looked back after trying Live. IMO it's the only DAW that lets yo...

Well, I do have an XP laptop and my Motu failed me twice at a live gig....
Ok, but do you think that the BCD is any good for Ableton Live? Not intending to use Traktor at all. For example, can I use the Jog wheels to emulate a backspin? Thanks so far!

And if you really need to stick with Impulse, in the sidechain section of the comp on the bass chnl, select the channel wich contains the Impulse and then select the slot with the kick.

Thanks 4 your reply. The thing is that I want an additional audio-interface for gigging. My Motu should stay in the studio enviroment, so I want something to carry along and thats quick to set up. Don't want to disconnect all my audiocables to the Motu every time....and worse, re-connect them when i...

BCD-3000?

Hi, Anyone has some experience with the Behringer BCD-3000? Or the 2000? I would like to have all-in-one solution for my DJ gigs. Now I use my laptop, BCR-2000 for controls (wich I will keep using), my padKontrol for triggering tracks and my Motu 828 for the sound and pre-listening. First I had my B...
