Just simply make sure no Push controller is selected in the list. The P3 is recognized automatically, and its hidden in the UI.

Update:

Figured out the solution; my Audio Configuration was set to 'Push', 'PushFrom' and 'PushTo'.
This made the Push3 confused.
The correct setting is 'None'. Push3 will autodetect everything and it just works.

the pad stuck problem was a bug confirmed, it was introduced in Ableton 11.2.6 (confirmed by Ableton Support).
you need to download the latest Ableton software (11.3.2) + Update the firmware (automatic) on your P2, then it should be fixed!
