Yeah, my guess is 16th notes. There's not much side chain compression on the kick, he's maybe used that on a ghost 16th note audio clip that's muted. I would guess its more to do with synth programming than actual automation. The bass tends to have the same repeating notion. It's got a little attack...

The thing is, if you take this system out to local gigs and performances.... I noticed with the old V8 version on PC systems that it had a tendency to crash. Macbooks being based on UNIX have a permission systems in place to stop this sort of thing happening. Fair enough if you just want to produce ...
