i'm trying to get my mind around this too.
any idea how to do this to map the note on and note off messages to the same controller.
that is, say, a send level, or a macro knob.
can the note on event turn the level of the send up (while holding down the pad/button) and upon release the same send ...

Re: MIDI Mapping Aftertouch (Channel Pressure) 2 macros, etc?

Re: mpk25 - pads to momentary (to control macroracks)?
i am also looking to do something very similar. i find it astounding that Live cannot implement aftertouch info from controllers except in very limited circumstances (i.e. some of its instruments).
would love if someone could shed some light on this.

Re: Modulate With Aftertouch (Channel Pressure)
can anyone else weigh in on this??
i'm also looking to midi map aftertouch.
in my case, using an akai mpd32, i want to be able to use aftertouch to automate send levels, for example.
seems like it should be easy enough to do. can't find anything about it in the Live manual, or on this board.

that 3/4 scene triggers fine after a 4/4 scene, but after the 3/4 scene when i try to trigger to another 4/4 scene, it takes 4 ...

hey, i have noticed similar problems...running two Powerbooks with Live, in Midi Sync, and neither computer is doing all that much that it should pose problems.
However, INVARIABLY, Live either experiences a very audible tempo jitter or jump, OR the sync gets um, un-synced by a beat or a beat and a ...
