Re: Audio In Problem
I mean have you selected the right driver? Is there an ASIO and a non ASIO one ? Have you set up the inputs/outputs, sample rate etc. ? yes i have the ASIO driver selected. inputs/outputs all are "selected." sample rate is 44100 and set to "normal." Still nothing. Also, I can us...

I'm not sure I follow you regarding "checking the settings one by one."keiyam wrote:Can you check your settings one by one ? What kind of hardware are you using? What sound card and what audio configuration generally?
The hardware I have is an Oxygen 8 and Korg ER-1 drum machine.

Re: Audio In Problem
Thanks for the quick response.
No... I cannot get a green bar audio signal either on 1, 2 or 1/2. But I can hear the audio playing back thru my computer. The midi isn't working either.

Audio In Problem
Hello, I am running Live 8.1.1 on 64-bit Windows 7. Sound card is a M-Audio Fast Track Pro. I am having an issue with getting audio in working properly. I have the "in/out" checked properly in the view drop down and also have ASIO and M-Audio USB Asio selected in the Audio Preferences tab....

Re: External F(x) Box
@ nux... that seems closer to what it was (or may be what it was). it only had one LED on it for BPM or Effect Amount. is there a youtube video or similar out there showing this effects box at work?

Re: External F(x) Box
No it wasn't the Pioneer Efx-500 either. I had that one years ago. This is not a "Pioneer" type effect... it is unique unto its own. The box doesn't have a jogdial(s).

External F(x) Box
Lately, I've heard many techno/tech-house sets which feature an external standalone f(x) unit to mangle the sound. Joris Voorn uses it extensively on his SQ Klub mix from December 2009. It almost sounds like a combination of insane flanger and grain delay. Magda uses a similar unit, witnessed it whe...

Re: THE Rack List. (What can YOU do with Racks in Live 6?)
Hi zalo, great rack. While I was checking it out yesterday evening I found a better way for you to use stereo. Instead of having seperate chains for left and right you can use one chain. All you have to do is to set the "Phase" of the auto-pans to 0°. That way the left and right channel a...

Synth Question - Steve Bug & Cle (Month of Sip)
Maybe a silly question, but what is the synth creating the pad drone sound that permeates the track?

Re: Synth Control - Question
Sorry if this is a re-post, somewhat of a specific question. Is there any way to nest audio effect racks or something similar to allow you to control which soft synth is playing on that channel? In essence, you have a macro knob which would control several different instances of either the same syn...

Re: Synth Control - Question
sorry.
i mean on any single vertical channel on the session view. i guess it would have to be a midi channel since i am looking to control multiple instances of a soft synth plug-in on that same channel.

Re: ableton loads slow!
what type of soundcard are you using?
if it is an external usb this may be the culprit. try powering off and back on, then get back into live.

Grouping VST to drumrack - question?
Is there a way to group a VST to drum-rack but without the nuisance of having that plug-in associated with only 1 note (ie - C, or A, etc)? I am trying to map macro controls to Sylenth this way. Tried a quick search and couldn't find anything. TIA.
