I try to have at least 30 songs or more per hour. Sometimes you get into the groove and you're transitioning songs quickly and you don't realize it but you've used a lot of songs. However, this is a bar so people aren't focused on the music as much as they would be at a club, so they're just looking...

So does the voice do just that? Give a voice to the oscillator? the more voices you have, the more polyphonic something becomes. so if you have a synthesizer with just one voice, it becomes monophonic...meaning you can only play one note as a time. as you increase the voices, you increase the polyp...

RME Babyface all the way. Used to use echo audiofire12. RME destroys. definitely the babyface. if you were on a mac I'd recommend the apogee duet 2 but the babyface is a great contender. as for where to get started... It's hard to pick anyone place IMO because it's very dependent on the small thing...

For years I have DJ'd at house parties and even a street party, all the time with vinyl. Simple beat matching and cross fade transitions between tunes, hardly touching the EQ! Maybe a few tweaks with the low end to prevent distorted bass but thats it really lol. Nothing wrong with that of course. S...

13" macs are a nice size and weight to carry around if you're on the move. I do most stuff on the train during my enormous commute (well writing, not mixing). 15" seem a lot more inconvenient for a bit more screen space. Either way, plugins fit nicely on the screen as long as you don't wa...
