I want to use ableton to do a studio mix cd in arrangement view. I can line the tracks up in arrangement view but my question relates to automating the eq'ing, levels and so forth.

Using midi button to do equiv of (Shift+Spacebar)
I am doing a set incorporating an efx-1000... would like to do a feedback loop which means i would like to able to hit a button on my midi mixer to stop the set dead... and then hit another button to resume it from where I stopped it.
If I am using the keyboard it means I would do;
