So, you're telling me that I can't change parameters in the very cool, easy to use, FM8 graphical interface... that I have to use the list that Live provides on its "Devide Parameters" list, if I want to record them?

Mac/Logic user, new to Live and the PC. Very happy so far. But...

I'm using "Native Instruments" FM8. I have the track record enabled, and I'm changing parameters in the FM8 plug-in window, but they are not getting recorded. Why not? Do they need to be mapped to a MIDI controller?

I'm a Logic user trying out the Live Demo on PC. I've used Live 4 before, a few years ago and on a different machine, but I'm having a strange problem with the PC Demo: it won't record anything, MIDI or audio.

Everything else is fine... I see the MIDI activity light, playing soft synths, hearing ...

Never mind, I think. I just found the "Live Packs" download section.

I'm thinking about buying Sampler, but I can't find on the site if it says it comes with any presets and samples. If it does come with a library, can you download it, or do they ship it via DVD?

I set the buffers to the minimum - 64 samples, and am having no problems. Any more advice on the settings in ASIO ALL?

And, would you use the beta, or the last stable release?
