Re: New Warping

as a matter of fact, after ten days of trying to figure it out on a demo version, i've decided NOT to upgrade. maybe in version 9 they'll include an option to warp the old way, but i'll be damned if i'm gonna pay good money for 8 when all it's done for ten days is piss me off.

Re: New Warping

maybe i'm doing something wrong here? i HATE the new warping...granted, i'm talking about for djing....in the studio, sure, it's great, but for djing i can't get my tracks to warp right half the time, and when i can get 'em right it takes five times as long as it did with version 7.

not enough memory error-please help!

so i've got a rather large template for djing, and all of a sudden when i try to open it it either tells me ''you don't have enough memory available. please save your project and start over.'' or it just freezes up altogether. i assume this has something to do with my cache, but i don't know what to...

i just got omnispere, and i've gotta admit, i'm a little let down. don't get me wrong, it's a nice synth, but it's a cpu hog, and the sounds aren't any better than atmosphere or albino 3, in my opinion. plus it runs way heavier than either of 'em. then again, as i said, i just got it, so i'm sure i'...

well that's just it....i do have enough disk space, but it's telling me i don't. i changed the minimum disk space setting to 100mb and the max to something crazy like 20 gigs, but it's still doing it.
could it possibly be referencing my virtual memory?

decoding cache problem-please help me!

okay, so i have a rather large template project that i use for djing with live. basically, i have my songs arranged by key in 12 different channels, and 4 channels i use as my ''decks''. you get the idea. i recently purchased a bunch of new music, and i'm dropping the tracks into one of the ''deck''...

i bought an m audio fast track pro, and it's been great for me....stay away from that numark junk. the only thing i'd ever use with numark on it might've been a needle (back in the vinyl days). and of course if ya wanna go ghetto fabulous, splitters will do the trick. i dj'd in mono for a long time....

other software can do it. why not live? no need to go into the mac vs pc thing. i know mac's better, but i have a pc, this is the feature wish list and i'm wishing for a feature. doesn't really seem like an unreasonable feature to wish for either. hell, i'll even pay for it! make it an upgrade! i do...

MIDI RESET/REFRESH! PLEASE!!!

okay so we all paid a lot of money for a program which allows us to perform music from a computer live. hell, ''live'' is even part of the name. why, oh why, can i not refresh a midi controller that gets unplugged? twice now, during dj sets, i've lost my midi controller, which i use as a mixer, leav...

torq/connectiv

live's eqs are much better than torq's, but when i route my audio through live i can't use the vinyl control (which is the whole point as far as i'm concerned)...i don't really like torq much....the layout just doesn't give enough flexibility.....i want to be able to play on turntables, but still ha...
