Nope. I have to manufacture it in a lab.

It's still like 90 something degrees Fahrenheit here during the day. It's ridiculous sometimes

Re: Best VSTs

A lot of the instruments can be as good or even better then a lot of the VSTs. Operator and Simpler are pretty goodly once you get used to them. Go on youtube there are a bunch of tutorials on how to use them and get the sound you want. If you have the money, I love Nexus. In my opinion, it's worth...

Re: Big Ups To The Ableton Community

TheOnlyProphet, if you send me cold beer, I'll give you the beta license Ableton sent to me for Live 9. I'm going back to using Bitwig studio, so I'm not going to need it anymore. It was only 64 bit, so my bass didn't really crush. My 256 bit Puppy Linux box is running Bitwig like a champ and I jus...

Re: Big Ups To The Ableton Community

I find the Propellerhead registered user forum to be a consistently informative and generally good-natured board for sound design information (provided you own Reason, of course). Maybe I didn't try hard enough or something but, I just couldn't get into the propellerhead forums. I just went straigh...

Re: Does anyone have this cheesy sample?

OK - here's the sound I'm talking about. Judging from various Youtube clips, the waterphone definitely sounds like it could potentially produce this sound, but I think this particular instance must be in every single soundtrack producer's sample library. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/23270102/XF-metal_s...

http://www.vst4free.com/img/DebaserFree_2.jpg This plug-in looks interesting. Does anyone have any experience with it that can speak to the sound quality? If you want a very good sounding MultiFX for free, try this: http://www.luxonix.com/home/en/products.html?id=lfx1310 This is my last advice :twi...

Re: Best VSTs

You mean don't randomly adjust things too far from default? Or zero? Does it have presets? The first! You must know what that particular knob will do to the sound or surely you will end up with a big headache!   And no, the presets for a Dynamic processor are useless  Cool!...

Re: Big Ups To The Ableton Community

I second that. I'm a musician for 30 years and have always used keyboards with sequencers...(Yamaha Motif ES88) and i just decided to go electronic and bought a computer and Ableton Live 8. Most everyone on this site is great, and any sarcasm is tongue-in-cheek so don't ever take it personal. We ne...
