Too right. The main problem with Malstrom, like all of the Reason devices, is that they sound a little flat, almost '2D' when compared to other VSTi synths.

If Ableton designed one, I bet it would be superb

I say anything thats in Reason should be in Live, including vocoder, sidechain compresser, etc

And that means a granular synth and a step sequencer too

I hear ya brother! A native vocoder device would be most interesting. Especially with the ability to use operator as the modulator.

I have a session template that I regularly use when creating new tunes.
It consists of 8 Audio tracks and 3 Return tracks with FX assigned to them.
On the Audio tracks, I always have a compressor (amongst others) assigned directly to each track.

It would be great to be able to assign a global set ...

In no particular order:
1. Improved MIDI export options-Export as type 0 or 1 from tracks in a set
2. Ability to render all tracks as separate audio files in one pass
3. Live devices made capable of receiving MIDI program changes
4. Tempo nudging (DJ style)
5. Native side chaining with key listen on ...
