Is there a way to open Live sets from Finder/ Windows thingy without Live asking if you want to delete unwanted audio and "do you want to save"?

Always seems a real pain when I'm in the middle of a set.. normally i use the Live song browser.. just looking at some other options ...

hey guys, I've always wanted to get some visuals happening at my gigs (laptop+other musos)

What does everybody around here do for that? do you have a dedicated VJ
Do you need to own a projector.. any tips on stage setup?

Can i use the venues projector? (rely on venues projectors..)

i pray that ableton is working on a solution - the megaset is not sustainable. really, I've tried - and it limits your songs to similar approaches within live.

this makes me think about FX and guitar.

What sort of interesting FX are people using on guitar, via live? I find granular synthesis to be really pretty.. there are so many options and colours, but I very rarely see stuff.

tempo based stuff would be cool too.

ah, by harmonic rhythm i am referring to the speed at which the chords change. currently the harmony changes once every bar. maybe you could try making the harmony change twice a bar.

might i suggest some kind of fresh harmonic rhythm after the build up (like chaznge of chords 2x a bar)

you could use the last chord played as the first chord, but then go somewhere unexpected.

ah, ok, some combo of updazting novation os, the mac os and reinstalling drivers seemed to fix the problem, now I'm getting about 7ms in and 7ms out.. which is usuable, not fantastic, but usable
