Re: Mavericks crashes: anyone else?
I've got a similar issue as the rest of you. I've only experienced the system "locking" while using Ableton. It's always been while playing a track and zooming around it. The track will continue playing but the system has to be shutdown hard. Using Live Suite 9.0.6 x86 ... only started hap...

Re: Kansas City Users
Used Live 8 for a bit, nothing too in dept. I don't have much of a music background but I love using Live and decided to take the dive into music production and bought Live 9 and Komplete 8. Looking to get together with other local EDM producers and see what happens. Here is my first track that I am...

Re: Extend a clip / note so it doesn't just drop out
Thanks to you and another person's advice and input, I've managed to get something half baked out of my head and out the door.

Thanks for your input!
The crash is the green area. I have't gotten around to (still takes me a while) to combining the reverse crash and the crash so right now on the start of bar 16 I start the reverse crash and at bar 1 I start the crash.

Extend a clip / note so it doesn't just drop out
I'm very, very, new to music production and ableton. To my pleasure, it's fairly easy to make music once you've been listening to it and variations of the same kind for so long. I am also pleased that there are people out there/on here willing to help others out. But I digress... The problem I am ha...

Re: Syncing strings in 4/4 time at 172bpm

Thanks a lot for your information.

You're probably right. Attack, Release, Decay ... all of which I need to learn more about.
Here is a screenshot of the waveform in Simpler ... I'll tweak things and see if I can get it right.
Thanks for your input!

Syncing strings in 4/4 time at 174bpm
First, forgive me for my lack of music theory knowledge and terminology. I just started making music with Ableton 3 weeks ago. I've got a Cello WAV file (called cello C3.wav) that I load into simpler and I play the notes that I'd like, C3, D3, E3, etc... The problem is that to get the perfect sound ...
