As for USB issue: what's wrong with one of these? One more piece of hardware to carry along and have something go wrong with, Plus with all the trouble I've had keeping my Triggerfinger seen in Live I'd like to keep m-Audio out of the picture. Ideally one audio interface, and one midi controller wi...

I do want a card with external MIDI I/0 but I don't need my sound card to have MIDI, I do on the other hand need my MIDI controller to have USB so it's good to know that while very stable the Foxes aren't for me.

shenanigans.. lol.. Instajungle doesn't do tape stops.. but then again it doesn't do anything unless you ask it to and if I recall correctly the OS X version is just as good as the win version.. Effectrix.. all the other third party glitch plugins.. pale in comparison to the win only DBlue Glitch th...

One thing I have noticed (or not noticed as the case may be) which could make a big difference in purchasing is: Are the FaderFoxes Standard MIDI I/O only or do they have MIDI USB capability. if they don't, for me that would make it a no go situation. The Novation SL is USB for the computer side and...

I've found that both of the drivers for the Triggerfinger can be quite unstable. The new drivers are supposed to have support for more than one software at a time, but they quickly drop the midi connection and the single device windows drivers aren't much better. Personally i've decided to sell the ...

There really shouldn't be any latency issues. it's just one channel being run through the internal sound card to one of the busses in ableton. And yes it's the same exact signal.

Odd Supatrigga Crossfade behavior

Recently my supatrigga crossfade template began to have a really odd behavior. When I fade over to the "Supatrigga/Livecut/Instajungle" bus I can still hear the original signal about half a second behind. This completely makes it useless now, and I can't figure out why it's doing this. I d...

Although Deckadance isn't entirely ready for prime time, The next version out will have the ability to sync with ableton as slave and master. Deckadance does work with serato currently under the Learn timecode button for vinyl and using the serato hardware. Something to consider..

Thanks for the help, looks like it would do the trick... I think I'm still gonna have to muddle through banging the definitions of low cut/low shelf etc. through my head. I suppose it doesn't help that spectrum anylizers never make sense to me... Thanks for the pointer though..

Best plugin to cut unnecessary frequencies?

Hello, I'm trying to choose a good pass/filter plugin to do a basic cut of unnecessary frequencies. ie below 30 and above 17. Does anybody have a suggestion as to which one is the best/most transparent/ easiest to use? Is the one in ableton sufficient? That would be the auto filter right? I'm findin...

Organizing the song library.

Lately I've been trying to index and organize all my songs so I can start using the drag and drop method of playing live. I was wondering if anybody had any tips or advice on good ways to organize.. How is your directory structured? genre/bpm, bpm/genre, a different structure? I also have a lot of s...

From what I have heard you shouldn't have anything on the master channel that limits or compresses. What is good to have on the master is clip indicator and an intersample clip indicator. When creating a song the master should be -6 decibels for the mastering engineer to have enough head room if you...

Do you have a midi controller of some sort? your sig doesn't say what you have... Anyway this is very easy if you map the tracks to a single fader.. midi controllers are pretty cheap these days.. even for me and I'm ghetto assed poor. Well, Good luck.
